What does the course cover?
- Learn the fantastically adaptable art of stained glass copper-foiling and soldering to join the glass together.
- Creating a light enhancing gift or decoration for the home and garden.
- Clean & Foiling glass
- Assembling & Soldering
You will use glass Pre-cut shapes out of various amber/clear iridescent coloured, smoothed & textured glass…. So don’t worry about cutting glass! The experience of this workshop is for you to relax and have fun when crafting!
In addition, you will be using embellishments such as enamel bees & honeycomb shaped charms to enhance your work.
Your glass piece will have a steel corded copper wire Hanger or Stem for strength and durability, especially if you wish to hang it in the garden!
I will explain how the glass is cut & processed while also teaching the soldering and additional processes to complete this course – ideal for beginners and improvers who want a creative break!
